For the last 20 years our policy has been, and always will be, if you are not happy with our product in any way please contact us within 7 days for an exchange or a refund. Please feel free to call or email us with any other questions. Unfortunately, once the halter is used, it is not returnable.

Jerwen was established in 1974 in Sherwood Oregon. Shortly after that, we started to breed and raise Arabian horses. Than a few years later, we set up an appointment with a local trainer to look at a filly we were very proud of, but after checking our tack room, we found that we did not have a show halter. So, I went into my shop, and built one. When the trainer arrived to see the filly, he loved her. He immediately took her into training, and also commented on the halter. He said he liked it very much, and wanted to purchase some for himself. When he asked where he could purchase more, I replied that I made them myself, and could make some for him. Thrilled, he said “let’s do it”, and that is how Showtimetack was born.
Several years later, we entered the world of the miniature horse industry, and found it to be delightful, and are now the world’s largest manufacture of miniature show halters. It was approximately 20 years ago that we built our first show halter, and from my first halter, which was nonadjustable, we have evolved into an International company with associates worldwide. In working with individuals and trainers, we have continued to expand our line of products.
